Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How hygienic is this product with various people rinsing their used glassware on it?

Very.  Anti-microbial agents have been injected into all molds and surfaces and the rinser plate is designed with elevated ribbing to minimize contact of the glass with the rinser plate.  The Eldon James tubing is highly graded for its resistance to permeation of yeasts and bacterias to its walls.

What is the water source?

This is up to you! We recommend either a large format commercially available water bottle or jug (Gallon bottles or large water cooler jugs). But any container filled with clean, preferably filtered, water will do..

Do we always have to use bottled water bottles/ jugs?

Where we always recommend using purified or bottled water, regular tap water will work fine. Just make sure your source is clean and a water filter is always recommended but not necessary. We also recommend you use the commercial water bottles that are BPA Free.

How many batteries does it take and how long will they last?

It takes 8 AA Batteries. They should last about 90 gallons worth of water or 4 hours of uninterrupted rinsing or 8-12 hours with standard pauses between each rinse.

How much does it weigh?

InstaRinse weighs just a bit over 3 pounds.

Is it easy to assemble?

InstaRinse comes fully assembled minus the batteries.

How long are the input and output tubes?

The input tube is 4 feet and the output tube is 3 feet, making them easily distinguishable.

How durable is it?

This isn’t a dainty industry, and InstaRinse was designed with durability in mind. It can take a hit or a drop or a toss into the back of the car or trunk, but keep the abuse within reason to ensure best working capability.

My rinser stopped working

Not quite as simple as rebooting, but th troubleshooting is straightforward: make sure the rinser plate isn’t locked, check the battery connection, look for blockage in the input or output tubing. If these steps don’t solve the problem, email us directly and we can try to walk through some other mechanical checks to find out and fix the problem.
